A VAST array of cars of different vintages, models and styles will be descending on Holsworthy as its annual vintage and classic rally prepares to take place.

Held on Saturday, June 27 and Saturday June 28, the event promises to bring something for all the family.

Among the offering will be a smorgasbord of vintage and classic cars, motorbikes and tractors, with something to delight both the curliest haired of Jeremy Clarkson’s in the family and the casual attendee who might remember the days where the perfectly preserved examples were ubiquitous on the road.

There will also be a range of full size and miniature engines on display at the event.

But the event doesn’t just feature wall-to-wall vintage cars – as a family event, it aims to cater for everyone. There will be a range of craft and trade stalls and a kids play area.

Visitors to the event won’t be left wanting either – there is a fully licenced bar and refreshments also available.

The event will also play host to a literal parade of pooches, with a dog show also joining the weekend’s offerings, which will also feature a display of wrestling.

In the evenings, there will also be a schedule of live music beginning at 7pm on the Friday, June 26 prior to the event and Saturday, June 27 in the tent providing a audible feast for the ears alongside a fully stocked bar.

The Holsworthy Vintage and Classic Rally and family fun day is held at The Showground located on the A3072 at Rydon, Holsworthy, EX22 6JP.

General admission to the event is £5 per person, while admission for under 16’s is free of charge.
