YARNSCOMBE Eagles are on course to win the Evening Fours League with just two games to go.

They currently sit 3.5 points clear of Wick who just have the solitary outing remaining.

At the bottom the Christ Church Saints are 4.5 points behind the South Molton Ferrets despite having a game in-hand.

In Division?One of the Evening Triples League, Langtree and Torrington?Whites are locked on 20 points, although Langtree do have a game in-hand.

The battle for relegation between Morwenstow and the Parkham Bells looks to be going the way of the former as they’re 1.5 points ahead and have a game more to play.

Holsworthy Lakes have already won Division Two, sitting 8.5 points ahead of the Hartland Reds who’ll look to fight off the Torrington Greens and Hatherleigh for the runners-up spot.

At the bottom, the Woolsery Bees require a massive victory in their final outing to avoid relegation and send the Sutcombe Skylarks down.

The Anstey Stags have the Division Three title firmly in their hands. They sit one point behind league leaders Torrington Yellows who have finished their league programme but have to games to go.

At the other end of the table Holsworthy Rivers prop up the rest but are just three points behind the Woolsery Wasps, and will be hopeful of avoiding the wooden spoon.

There’s a colossal battle developing between the Wick Wrens and the Goodleigh Mazzards for the Afternoon Triples League Division One league title. Both teams are locked on 20.5 points having played ten games. A mighty collapse from both may allow fourth-placed Torrington Blues to sneak in and steal the championship.

In Division Two, the Braunton Hunters, the Woolsery Stingers and the Winkleigh Hurricanes are separated by just a point with varying amounts of games to play wh­­ile other teams are also still in contention.

In the rest of the divisions, South Molton Squirrels have already won Division Two with High Bickington doing likewise in Division Six.

The other league leaders are the Torrington Browns, Shebbear Acorns and South Molton Otters.
