On Friday, December 2, the guests, carers and volunteers of Bude Memory Café were pleased to welcome two visitors, Edwina and Sue, from North Cornwall Whist Drive Holiday.

In the summer a coach-load of their whist drive enthusiasts spent a holiday on the Isle of Wight and we were delighted when Edwina and Sue presented the £500 they raised to the Memory Café. Memory Cafés are self-funded, so we were thrilled to receive such a generous donation.

Bude Memory Café meets in the Parkhouse Centre on the first and third Friday of each month between 2 and 4pm.

It is fun, friendly and free and new faces are very welcome.
