SOUTH West Water has said it is working hard to repair a burst water main in Holsworthy.
After residents reported seeing "water flowing out of a hole" along North Road yesterday (January 11), the region's water supplier has closed the road while works get underway.
Speaking to the Post, South West Water said: "We are working hard to repair a burst main on North Road in Holsworthy. This has required a road closure to ensure the safety of our crews and road users, and a diversion is in place. There has been no customer impact from the burst.
“We thank local residents for their understanding while this essential repair is carried out.”
