SEVERAL ladies turned up for the monthly medal last Thursday, which was played in glorious autumn weather.
The course is recovering well after the extremely hot, dry summer while the trees are beginning to turn creating spectacular autumn foliage adding another dimension to the game.

IN?THE annual match between the Senior Ladies and the Senior Men, there was a close result with only eight points separating the two teams.

NINE pairs from Launceston headed to the South Devon coast last week for the 46th and final match of the season, which was eventually lost.
The team’s enjoyment of the day was enhanced by the genial hosts, superb weather, and a course in excellent condition with lightning-fast greens.
Nearest the pin prize was fittingly won by Launceston’s Alan Bessell, who is moving away from the area, so this was probably his final match for the club.
