VEHICLES were seized by police from the Launceston neighbourhood policing team after a traffic operation in the town.
Police from the neighbourhood team were joined by the road policing team for the operation on Saturday, January 17, which saw a number of vehicles seized for road traffic offences while, elsewhere, drivers were given ‘educational inputs’ where appropriate.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “On January 17, officers from Launceston Neighbourhood Team ran a traffic operation in and around the town centre.
“There were a number of vehicles seized for road traffic offences, and when more appropriate, drivers were given educational inputs. We'd like to thank the Roads Policing Team officers for coming up and supporting us with this operation.”
