A WINDOW in the weather ensured a perfect setting for the Tetcott Hunt puppy show in the lovely surroundings of Rowden Kennels, Kilkhampton.

Almost unbroken sunshine and a wealth of hounds in tip top condition made for a great afternoon enjoyed by scores of farmers, landowners, hunt members and friends.

Young hound puppies are taken on by volunteers who then devote a lot of time training them to walk on a lead, teaching them their names, and generally socialising the puppies especially with other farm animals before returning them to the kennels.
