Year 9 French at Holsworthy Community College have been taking part in a pen pal project with College Antoine Nicolas de Condorcet, a French school, writes Charlotte Prime and Clare Ley.

We have both made and received Christmas and New Year cards from our French partners. We were ecstatic when the parcel finally arrived from France.

We have also received questions from their class about our town and local area. In order to give them extra information about where we live, we not only answered the questions but also took pictures around the town with members of our class.

We add to our brochures regularly and look forward to sending them off in the spring.
