RESIDENTS are in for a treat during this festive period as more than 100 Christmas trees will be on display in Launceston.
On November, 28, the 2025 Festival of Christmas Trees and Cribs will be opened by the mayor of Launceston, Cllr Nicola Gilbert at St Mary Magdalene’s Church in the town.
More than 100 trees will be on display, representing the community in and around Launceston, from schools, businesses, charities and churches to community and social groups.
Following the opening, the choir will sing a selection of carols under the direction of Dr Sean Sweeny, director of music, and mulled wine and mince pies will be served.
The festival runs from Saturday, November 29, to Saturday, December 13, from 10am to 4pm.
