AS A result of challenges that Holsworthy and Bude Methodist circuits have been faced with in recent years, the two circuits have joined together in agreement to work as one.

The Holsworthy and Bude Methodist circuits voted unanimously recently to amalgamate to become a new single Methodist circuit named the Bude and Holsworthy Methodist Circuit. This was in response to some of the challenges the Methodist Church has been facing and in an effort to engage more fully with communities once again.

A spokesperson said: "As anyone involved in rural life will be only too aware, so much of our environment is either under threat or having to change and adapt in a way that it's never really had to deal with before."
