The independent, family run, Arthur W Bryant Funeral Services (AWB) are celebrating 10 years of supporting the Camelford community since opening their premises on February 3, 2012.

During their time in Camelford, Kingsley, William and all of the team have been warmly welcomed by the local community and neighbouring areas.

Kingsley explained: “We feel honoured to care for loved ones and provide guidance, reassurance and support for families throughout very difficult times. Being proud members of The National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD), families have the reassurance that their loved ones are entrusted to regulated funeral directors who adhere to a strict code of conduct.”

Arthur Bryant, founder of AWB began working in the funeral business for Tom Burrow in August 1949. As his business developed and grew, he opened his first funeral home in Bude, in January 1984. His son, Kingsley joined his business in 1988 and he was followed by William (Arthur’s grandson) in 2013.

In 2012, Kingsley opened their premises in Camelford allowing the local demographic to know their loved ones are being cared for close by.

Since opening the Camelford funeral home, AWB have participated at Camelford Show, supported Camelford lights switch on, sponsored the local football club, sponsored Camelford Rugby Club and actively tried to support the community. The AWB team feel honoured to support Camelford and the wider areas. They are proud to uphold their ethos ‘our family caring for your family for over 50 years’ (within this, 10 years in Camelford).
