A SUCCESSFUL Christmas Tree Festival was held in St Deny's Church, North Tamerton, last Friday and Saturday (December 2 and 3).

Forty-two magnificently decorated trees were displayed around the church and admired by everyone who visited. Light refreshments were served by the church members and friends.

The weekend concluded on Sunday, when a large congregation filled the church for the annual Christingle service. It was conducted by the Venerable Audrey Elkington (Archdeacon of Bodmin) and Rev Ken Wakefield and the organist was James Oldham.
