ANIMAL behaviourist and adventuress Emma Massingale, from Holsworthy, and her Shetland ponies Albert and Ernie will be making guest appearances at three of Mole Valley Farmers stores in the run up to Christmas.

Albert and Ernie recently starred in Mole Valley Farmers’ short ‘Night at the Museum’ inspired film made at the company’s Holsworthy store.

They will be at South Molton, on Friday, December 2, Holsworthy on Wednesday, December 7, and Bridgwater on Thursday, December 8.

Emma will visit each of the stores during their special late night shopping events, which run until 9pm each evening.

Emma will also be signing her award winning DVD The Island Project, which documents her solitary month spent living off the land on a remote Irish island, with just six Connemara ponies for company.

Ed McCullar, store manager at Holsworthy’s Mole Valley Farmers, said: “I’m sure many people will be very interested to come and meet Emma and the ponies, who Mole Valley Farmers has worked with for a couple of years now. We have been delighted with the response from the quirky short film she has made for us and as a result it will also appear before Christmas as an advert on Horse and Country TV. ”

Emma is celebrating triumphs at this year’s Equus Film Festival — see page 9 full the full story.
