TWO popular tribute bands will be performing at Launceston Town Hall in March 2026.
This Is Floyd will celebrate the best of Pink Floyd’s music on their 2026 Through the Years tour - which will visit the north Cornish town on Sunday, March 7.
The band, who were founded in 2007, will continue a well-established tradition of attracting audiences, old and young, to their show which highlights the definitive versions of the iconic band’s classic and best loved songs.
Their vision is quite simple; to create a show that will entertain, to spread our shared love for this iconic rock group and to bring a sense of nostalgia and joy to those who become part of our journey.
Each performance includes custom designed thematic light shows, spectacular laser effects and the iconic circular video screen.
On Sunday, March 21, Seven Wonders are back in Launceston for a night of Fleetwood Mac classics including; Go Your Own Way, Don’t Stop, Little Lies, Dreams, Everywhere, Secondhand News, Rhiannon, The Chain and many more.
Seven Wonders are a seven piece band capturing the spirit of Fleetwood Mac and do it with passion and appreciation for the classic band. The band cover the Peter Green and Buckingham Nicks eras and capture classic albums like Rumours, Tango in The Night and others.
As well as the two tribute bands, local band Barrett’s Privateers will return home with a night of rousing sea shanties, traditional folk, Cornish and mining songs on Sunday, March 28.
Hailing from the beautiful Tamar Valley from Launceston to Cargreen, Barrett’s Privateers formed through the joy of acapella singing in local pubs and they are now ready for their biggest Launceston gig yet.
