CROWDS of customers flocked to Lifton Community Centre for a ‘Christmas Fair’, which proved to be another tremendous success for Launceston & District Cats Protection.
A special raffle of a large Cats Protection hamper was popular alongside the usual raffle, which included prizes donated by Shelley Vanstone at Tesco Launceston and David Shepherd at Stratton Post Office.
A total of £1,862 was raised mainly through sales of donated goods and the ever popular and delicious homemade refreshments.

A spokespersons said: “This substantial amount will help cover rising costs associated with caring for cats and kittens in need of some help.
“A massive thank you to everyone, both supporters and volunteers who together created such an enjoyable atmosphere on the day! We absolutely couldn’t do it without you.”
