THE names of two people who were found deceased in a property in Camelford on Wednesday, September 24, have been released by police.

One death is being treated as suspicious, and both fatalities are linked.

Husband and wife, Anthony Buxton, 71, and Michelle Buxton, 69, were pronounced deceased at the scene. Their next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

A police spokesperson recapping the incident said: “Emergency services were called to a property in Treclago View at around 10pm on Wednesday, September 24 following a concern for the welfare of the two people.

“A police cordon was established while enquiries were ongoing at the scene, but this has since been lifted.”

Police confirmed that Michelle’s death is being treated as suspicious, adding: “Both fatalities are linked.”

Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.
