Ladies Section

SOME years ago, Margaret Slinger donated a Salver to the ladies section to be played for over two rounds of a bogey competition.

She has never won it, but she came close this year. Liz Underwood was unstoppable with a first-round score of +3 followed by a round of +1 earning her a much deserved handicap cut. Ely Walmsley was second with -4 and Margaret third with -7.
