MORWENSTOW Football Club under 12s have been making a name for themselves over the past year, culminating in winning the Plymouth Argyle Community Youth Cup at the end of last season.

The two-day tournament includes teams from all over Devon and Cornwall and provides the opportunity for every team to experience playing at Home Park — the home of League Two side Plymouth Argyle.

Considering the size of the community, just 90 children across all ages in the local primary school, the success is testament to the dedication of everyone involved in the development of the young players.

This, coupled with the positive and supportive attitude of the youngsters, means they have a thriving club across all ages, from under seven’s through to seniors.

Of course, there are other elements that contribute to the ‘feel-good-factor’ on the pitch and having the appropriate kit certainly helps.

Thanks to Trewin Design Architects, the team now have a brand new image. As proud fathers of two team members, James Trewin and Matt Payne, Directors at Trewin, took the opportunity to offer support both on and off the pitch.

They hope that the smart new look brings plenty of luck for the team this year.
