MANAGERS Neil Price and Reg Hambly offered contrasting opinions after the Camels produced a second half comeback to win 3-2 at Pennygillam on Saturday in SWPL Premier West.
Price’s Launceston worked themselves into a two-goal lead thanks to Jaden Wood’s long-range free-kick and Kian Berry’s angled drive four minutes after the break.
But the bottom side conceded within four minutes to Mark Gusterson’s breakaway goal and after passing up a couple of presentable opportunities to make the game safe, the Camels won it with two goals in two minutes.
Reg Hambly on 3-2 win at Launceston
Striker Adam Sleep sent a shot under Liam Hill in the 84th minute from Kenley Dyson’s cross, before Sleep set up former Claret Shae Cardiff for a simple tap-in after his initial pass was cut out.
The result made it three wins on the spin for the Camels who are now in mid-table, while Launceston have it all to do in their run-in.
Home boss Neil Price felt his side more than deserved to win the game, while Reg Hambly felt his side’s firepower off the bench proved key.
