The Tiverton-based club have won all nine of their league fixtures and went in front on 18 minutes when Tom Tricker’s shot was deflected past Ryan Walter by one of his own defenders.
However despite some pressure from the Magpies, Elmore held on to knock out higher league opposition at Upcott Field, while Holsworthy are left to try and turn around their recent league form, which has seen them slide down the table after a promising start to the season.
