Morwenstow, sporting their new away kit on home soil, put in an inspired performance before going down 3-2 to third-placed Braunton at Shop Playing Field.
The visitors led 2-0 at the break thanks to two fantastic strikes from the edge of the box, but within 10 minutes of the restart it was game on as Michael Dolan poked home from close-range.
With 20 minutes to go a controversial penalty was slotted home by Braunton for 3-1, but Corrick Davies, who also struck the post, dinked a finish in soon after.
