SUN and cricket go hand in hand over the summer and there was plenty of bat and ball played over the Bank Holiday weekend, which features heavily in this week’s Post Series.

The last-ever Duchy League games were played last week with Boscastle effectively securing promotion.
They finished runners-up in the Duchy Premier Division and will play Division One of the St Piran League East which comprises the majority of the season which has just finished East Cornwall Premier League teams.
Cornwall Women were looking to reach the final of the Division Two Gill Burns County Championship when they took on Hampshire at Launceston’s Polson Bridge. Inside is Bill Hooper’s report plus pictures.
