AT THE August meeting of the Women on Wednesday Group in Clawton, members were delighted to welcome Adrian Parsons from Bude Surf Life Saving Club.

Adrian joined them for a delicious supper and then spoke about the history and vital work of the club. Members presented Adrian with a cheque for £100, which they had raised by hosting a dance earlier in the year, the profits from which are shared between the group’s funds and their chosen charity for the year, Bude Surf Life Saving Club.
