LAUNCESTON Show dominates this week’s Post Series paper alongside stories from across the patch.

After a three-year break, the Show returned to Kennards House last Thursday with thousands in attendance for the 131stLaunceston Show.

Inside are reports from the show along with plenty of images of a historic day.

There’s also a report and pictures from Woolsery Show while there are reports and pictures from a couple of fundraising efforts.

Kirsty Knight, along with her mother Claire, have walked 62 miles in memory of her nan as part of Race to the Stones to raise money for Brain Tumour UK, while Launceston Rugby Club’s Barney Price saw his best mates walk ten miles of the Cornish coastpath to help him with his cancer battle.

Up in the Holsworthy area there’s news from a meeting on the future of Holsworthy Rural Community Transport while we hear about new play equipment in Pyworthy Park.

Over in Bude there is a new town councillor in the shape of Viki Herbert-Coulson, while there’s reports and pictures from the Rilla Mill Summer Fayre and St Genny’s District Horticultural Show.

If nostalgia is your thing then the Post have a page of images from the recent royal visit to Launceston to cut out.
