THE results are in and there have been a few surprises at this year’s election.The Conservatives have kept hold of their Holsworthy Rural seat on Devon County Council, while the Liberal Democrats remain in control of the majority of North Cornwall’s seats. However, the North Cornwall Conservatives have made strides this election, securing two seats (Launceston South and Camelford & Boscastle) with two left to be announced.
