PUPILS from Year 3 at Holsworthy Primary School were waited on in an ancient Rome style banquet at the White Hart, Holsworthy, recently.

The pupils have been covering the Roman period in their history topic at school this term, and teachers and assistants set up the banquet for interactive learning at the end of the year.

Teachers, assistants, pupils and staff at the White Hart donned togas for the event, and made laurel leaf headbands from card and paper.

The feast included chicken, bread and fruit.
