THE organisers of the Wheels Classic Vehicle Show have announced that this year’s event has raised £34,000 for good causes.

Held at the Royal Cornwall Events Centre, near Wadebridge, this summer’s car extravaganza welcomed thousands of visitors for a record-breaking show.

The annual event attracted more than a thousand vehicles on July 19, with the glorious weather helping to create the most successful Wheels event to date.

Organised by Wadebridge Rotary, the show had everything from classic cars, trucks, and motorbikes to vans, tractors, military vehicles and stationary engines. A special celebration of Porsche saw more than 100 examples of the German marque gathered together, the largest collection ever seen in Cornwall.

Those attending the event also found a selection of trade stands, an auto jumble, food and drink outlets, live music and entertainment.

Local charities have benefitted enormously from the event in previous years, and 2026 will be no exception after a remarkable amount was raised.

Wadebridge Rotary will decide which local good causes will receive donations at its meeting next month, with the final beneficiaries to be announced once those decisions have been made.

Elizabeth Davey, of Wadebridge Rotary, said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who brought their vehicles to Wheels 2026 and to the thousands who came along and enjoyed the day.

“The weather was absolutely perfect and it was fantastic to see the showground so busy, with so many people enjoying the incredible range of vehicles on display. We’re delighted that the event was such a roaring success and, most importantly, that we have been able to raise more than £34,000 for good causes.

“Wadebridge Wheels simply wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our exhibitors, our visitors, our volunteers and everyone who helps to make the event happen. We are incredibly grateful.”

“We’re already looking forward to next year and hope we can build on the success of Wheels 2026.”

The Wheels Classic Vehicle Show will return on Sunday, July 18 2027.
