Devon and Cornwall Police have launched an appeal to locate a 22-year-old Okehampton man wanted in connection withan investigation to a number of offences.

James Jordan, 22, also known as JJ, is wanted in connection to an investigation into allegations of burglary, assault, taking without consent, driving offences, possession offences and a breach of bail.

Members of the public have been warned not to approach him if they see him.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police are seeking the public’s help to trace 22-year-old James Jordan, also known as JJ, from Okehampton.

"James Jordan is wanted in connection to an investigation into allegations of burglary, assault, taking without consent, driving offences, possession offences and breach of bail.

"Enquiries have been made by police to locate him and officers are now appealing to the public for information on his whereabouts.

"Jordan is described as a white man, around 5ft 6in tall and of slim build. He has short mousey-brown hair.

"He has links to Nottingham, Okehampton, Torquay and Wales.

"Anyone who sees Jordan is asked not to approach him but to call police on 999, quoting reference 50230157334
