AFTER two years of COVID and lockdown Boscastle Pantomime group return bigger and better than ever before with their version of “Beauty and the Beast”.

Based on the traditional story this is a show of drama, song, jokes (well maybe a few!) and even some slap stick humour.

Do come and find out if the beast — who has been cursed by the witch of Minster woods — can captivate the heart of the beauty Belle or will he have to settle for one or even both of the ugly sisters?

Also on sale will be some amazing garden statues being offered at rock bottom prices by those questionable traders Snivel and Snide! Find out how do they get these statues at such low prices?

The magnificent cast, in order of appearance (well more or less) are: Prince/Beast, Steve Simmonds; Witch, Brona Simmonds; Villagers/trees, Liam Templar and Maddison Underhill; Timmy, Sophie Edwards; Jimmy, Zara Templar; Gerard, Robert Iles; Snivel, Emma Harvey; Snide, Fitzy; Simples, Aaron World; Dimples, Rob Williams; Belle, Lara Pollard-Jones; Bones, Don Lyle; Stodge, Dawn; Rat, Laurence Eagle; Catastrophy, Bob Harvey; Tom, Julie Potter; Bob, Dorian Giddings; Tarquin, Enya Beckham; General Understudy, Phil.

Tickets for this family entertainment are on sale at the Spar shop in Boscastle at £7 for adults and £3 for under 12s. There may be a few on sale at the door but these are lively to be few and far between.

Performances start at 7.30pm on March 9, 10, 11 and 12 with a matinee on Saturday, March 12, at 2.30pm.
