CHILDREN at Bridgerule Primary School have created a large wall hanging as part of their local history project. The piece has recently been returned to school after the sections were sent away to be compiled into one. Key Stage 2 children demonstrated their sewing skills by illustrating parts of the village that they felt were important. As part of the project, pupils took pictures of various places in Bridgerule, including the church, chapel, playing field, village inn and then returned to create the panels. They were assisted by Lizzie Davy and Lisa Pinn (parents and helpers of the school). Class teacher, Marion Balsdon said: "The children loved it and as they enjoyed it so much, an after school sewing club has been started on Tuesdays."
