Roads in Camelford, Slaughterbridge, Pyworthy and Holsworthy are among those affected.
One of those affected is the B3266, a road between Washaway and Camelford.
Traffic reporting site Inrix stated: “B3266 both ways blocked due to flooding from B3314 Slaughter Bridge (Tintagel turn off) to the Delabole turn off.”
While the worst of the rain has now departed the area, problems are likely to persist across the evening commute.
The weather for Tuesday is set to provide a brief respite from the winter washout, but the sunshine forecast is likely to be short lived with another Met Office weather warning in place for Wednesday, December 17, from 10am until 11.59pm.
It states: “A period of rain, heavy at times, especially over high ground, will move east across this region during Wednesday. Coming off the back of recent very wet weather, some travel disruption and flooding is possible.
“Fifteen to 25 mm of rain is likely to accumulate quite widely across the warning area, but 40 to 60 mm is possible over the high ground of Dartmoor and the hills of south Wales.Rain should clear to the east during the latter part of Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday.”
