CORNWALL Council has granted planning permission for the erection of a forecourt canopy including entrance canopy to the sales building of the recently re-opened Hallworthy Garage.

Documents submitted to the council stated the business owners are also providing additional filling pumps and an enlarged underground diesel tank, and the applicant described the garage as providing ‘an important asset to village life’.

Conditional planning permission was granted by Cornwall Council on June 24.
