An outreach Post Office service opened on Monday, August 9, at The Bray Church of England Institute in Marhamchurch. Bude’s Luke Francis BEM is the Postmaster for this service, but it is being operated by the retired Marhamchurch Postmaster, Chris Hutt. The service operates on a Monday afternoon from 1pm to 4pm and if there is a bank holiday, then it will operate on a Tuesday from 1pm to 4pm. Matt Walls, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said: “We are delighted to have restored a Post Office service to Marhamchurch as we know how important a Post Office is to a community. We thank the Postmaster for Bude for providing this service.”
