A MAN in his 20s has been charged following a multi-vehicle incident in Cornwall that left several cars damaged.

Emergency services were called to Westdown Road in Delabole in the early hours of Saturday morning (September 13) after reports of a collision. Four parked vehicles sustained damage, though none were occupied at the time.

Aidan Oldfield has been charged with driving while unfit through drink. He has been released on bail and is scheduled to appear before Bodmin Magistrates’ Court in October.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Aidan Oldfield, aged 20, of Palmers Terrace, Tintagel, has been charged with driving whilst unfit through drink. He has been bailed to appear before Bodmin Magistrates’ Court on October 3."
