A SOLAR farm project based near Launceston could be complete by the end of next year, following its acquisition by a new organisation.
Investment manager Downing has completed the acquisition of the Higher Witheven Solar project.
The project at Higher Witheven is expected to be completed at the end of 2027.
The organisation has expressed that the project has incorporated biodiversity enhancements, and ‘a landscape-led approach’
Sean Moore, senior investment director at Downing, said: “We’re delighted to be acquiring Higher Witheven Solar. The acquisition aligns with Downing’s long-term investment strategy, which focuses on building and managing high-quality renewable energy assets that deliver stable returns while supporting the UK’s transition to a low-carbon energy system.”
