Throughout the past 12 months, the members of Launceston Male Voice Choir have been singing their hearts out and at the same time, raising money for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

The fundraising total was achieved by undertaking bucket collections at various events that they organised and attend.

The latest event was at Central Methodist Church Launceston on September 16 when they sang with the Marazion Apollo Male Choir, reputedly the oldest male choir in Cornwall.

Members and their families also donated money in lieu of sending Christmas cards, which they plan to do again this year.

Choir members recently travelled to Little Harbour Hospice at St Austell to meet with area fundraiser Annabel Roberts and to proudly present a cheque for £1,000

CHSW is an amazing charity which provides hospice care and support for children who have short and precious lives, alongside their families in the South West Region.
