LAUNCESTON’S FedEx warehouse is once again being a donation point for charity Action for Children this year.

Action for Children support disadvantaged children and families across the UK through intervening early to stop neglect and abuse, supporting children in care, provide mental health support and well as making life better for children and young people with disabilities.

They run 477 services across the country and helped 671, children, young people and families.

The warehouse, which is situated on Pennygillam Industrial Estate, are taking toys for the following ages:

0-1 Years: Musical toys, teething toys; activity – walker; baby books and rattle toys; soft play toys, baby mat – mobile.

2-3 Years: Sensory – fidget toys, stacking cups; large building blocks and activity board; pop ip/musical books and jigsaws; wooden shapes – box, Silicone pop bubbles.

4-5 Years: colouring books, picture match cards, large lego blocks, play-doh, foam letters and alphabet, flash cards, imaginary play – kitchen, groceries, doctors and builders kits.

6-7 Years: Fine motor actives – cutting, weaving and felt pens; messy play – sand, water accessories; Lego, slinky, foam bricks and stress balls; magnetic building blocks, drawing boards.

8+ Years: Jewellery making set, arts and crafts; Lego, books or reading activities, DIY assembly activity set, phonics boards; imaginative dress up – chef/graduation.

No action figure toys are allowed, while the deadline for donations are Thursday, November 30.
