A LONG serving member of the Holsworthy and District Lions Club was honoured for his many years of voluntary service for the benefit of his community.

At the November monthly meeting, Jeff Wyatt was presented with a plaque by Sandy Preston, the branch’s president.

Mr Wyatt was also made an honorary life member in recognition of his dedication to the Lions and honoured for his public achievements both within the club and the wider community.

A spokesperson for the Holsworthy and District Lions Club said: “Lion member Jeff Wyatt was presented with a plaque by Lion president Sandy and made honorary life member for his dedication to the club over many years.

“Many congratulations Jeff, you are a very special person.”
