THE Holsworthy Christmas market has been cancelled due to the inclement weather forecast tomorrow (Wednesday, December 17).

It makes it the second of two festive markets to be cancelled after last week’s scheduled edition was cancelled due to poor weather forecasts and the withdrawal of traders.

There is a yellow weather warning in place for the next two days with Holsworthy among the areas set to continue to take a battering from the skies above.

A spokesperson for Holsworthy Town Council said: “The market scheduled for Wednesday, December 17, has been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. Thank you for understanding.”
