St Stephens Community Academy in Launceston are celebrating an Eggcelent evening of fundraising and fun.

Last week, St Stephens hosted an Easter Bingo event to raise funds for enrichment activities and resources for children at the school.

The event was a big success with hundreds raised and lots of fun had too!

Maura Furber, headteacher at St Stephens said: "A huge well done to our wonderful PTFA for hosting their Easter Bingo at St Stephens Community Academy. It was wonderful to see so many families there and lots of happy faces leaving with their 'wins'.

"An enormous thank you to all the parents/carers for their Easter donations that were used as prizes. This fun event has raised over £487 to use for enrichment activities and resources for the children." 

The Chair of the PTFA added: "Another great night, the children at St. Stephens are an absolute credit to the school. I loved how they all were looking out for each other and sharing their smiles".

The school would like to thank all those who cane to support the event and hope everyone had a very happy Easter.T
