A YOUNG lion has been celebrated for the part they play in helping the group with its vital work in the community.

Amy Lethbridge was commended by Sandy Preston, the president of the Holsworthy and District Lions club for her willingness to ‘go over and above’ which it was said ‘has enriched the club and the community they serve’.

A spokesperson for Holsworthy and District Lions club said: “At our Lions Social evening, one of our young Lion Members, Amy Lethbridge was presented with the club presidents certificate of appreciation.

“This is given for the willingness to go over and above which has enriched our club and the community we serve. Lion President Sandy presented the certificate. Many congratulations Amy!”
