THE providers of general practice services in Holsworthy and surrounding areas has issued a plea for understanding and respect after staff sickness impacted services.
Ruby Coutnry Medical Group said that it was experiencing higher than usual staff sickness levels, leading to disruption to the service they offer patients at their Holsworthy surgery.
They have asked for patients to show understanding and patience in the face of the circumstances which they said is unavoidable.
A spokesperson for Ruby Country Medical Group said: “Like many NHS services we are experiencing higher than usual staff sickness levels. Where possible we put contingency plans in place and redeploy staff to maintain safe services.
“We sincerely apologise to our patients for any inconvenience caused by staff illness at Holsworthy surgery. We are making every effort to maintain our usual level of service during this challenging time and appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate these circumstances.
“We kindly ask for understanding and respect towards our staff. Staff illness is unavoidable and no one chooses to be unwell.
“Our team is working hard, often under significant pressure to continue delivering safe care to our community. We will always aim to notify patients in advance is any service changes are unavoidable and will keep disruption to an absolute minimum.
“Thank you for your patience, kindness and continued support of our team.”
