HOLSWORTHY Day Centre, led by Ann Jose, held a 'Knit In' on Friday, February 24 in aid of North Devon Hospice. Gerard Fawcitt, of the hospice fundraising team, visited the group and said: "It was wonderful to see everyone, especially Cush who recently celebrated her 100th birthday! We are so grateful for the group's long-standing support of our Knit In event, they have been taking part since 2001. We really appreciate the monies they have raised over the past 11 years that helps the hospice provide its free care to the local people of North Devon."
