BRADWORTHY'S oldest well, which dates back to the 1800s, has been given a new lease of life after it became almost unrecognisable.
St Peter's Well, situated near the village square, was once a vital resource for members of community, who relied on it for fresh water. Another two have since been built and are located in the square.
The well had become "very badly deteriorated" since the last time it was restored in 1964, said Parish Council Chairman Margaret Coles.
