THE French Consul in Plymouth visited primary school pupils at Clawton, to thank them for their cards of condolence following the terrorist atrocity in Paris last November.

Monsieur and Madame Sibiril came to meet the pupils and talked to them about their life in France and the job of a French Consul.

During the day, the pupils made croissants and brioche, sang French songs and listened to Monsieur and Madame Sibirl read them some stories. They were invited to join the teachers and the pupils for a French-themed lunch.

After lunch, Monsieur and Madame Sibiril thanked the junior pupils for condolence that they sent and gave them gifts to thank them.
