THE date of the final curtain call for one of Holsworthy’s high street shops has been confirmed.
It comes after fears for the future of the Holsworthy branch of The Original Factory Shop (TOFS), which went into administration earlier this year.
The store will close on March 21, with remaining stock for sale at a discount.
It marks the end of the second coming for the chain in the town, after previously closing and later reopening at the same location.
After its initial closure, discount retailer Bargain Buys opened a store in 2019 before the Original Factory Shop later returned to its old premises. However, it would appear that the second closure could be its last, with all of the stores set to close according to a statement on the TOFS website.
Confirming the date of the closure of the store, a spokesperson representing the Holsworthy branch of The Original Factory Shop said: “Sad news to bring to you all.
“We have our closing date which will be Saturday, March 21. Many bargains to be had so come in for a bargain or just a chat before we leave you. We will miss all our customers and joy you bring to us.”
The closure of the Holsworthy branch will be one of many, with the confirmation that all of the stores operated by The Original Factory Shop are set to close.
A statement on the website read: “After more than 55 wonderful years serving communities across the UK, The Original Factory Shop (TOFS) will soon be closing its doors.
“To say thank you for your loyalty, we’re offering up to 50 per cent off across our stores – but only while stocks last.
“Don’t miss your chance to grab a bargain. Visit your local store and make the most of these final offers.”
