PYWORTHY Primary School's After School Club had an exciting outing when they all visited Hopworthy Moor Cottage by kind invitation of Tristan Abrey and his mum Janet, being shown around all the animals by gran Mrs Phillips. The children first of all had a great time playing on all the play equipment, then went to see all the goats, four out in the field, three kids and a nanny in sheds. After that they went off in search of several chickens, ducks and geese. Then came the big treat, a visit two at a time only to see the baby chicks. A huge thank you must go to Mrs Phillips for taking the time to show a very appreciative audience around. The whole party then walked back to school through Hopworthy Woods where they saw damsel flies and enjoyed the lovely weather as they returned to school for squash and biscuits.
