When drag queen Aida H Dee visited Camelford Library, 50 children and adults attended to hear Aida’s story “Three Goats United”.

A spokesperson for the library said: “Aida H Dee The Storytime Drag Queen read “The Three Goats United” in a very loud, colourful & fabulously inclusive story session.

“Drag Queen Story Hour UK provide fun and interactive kids shows with amazing and talented drag performers!”

This is just one of many events held across Devon and Cornwall as part of Drag Queen Story Hour. Aida H Dee has visited a number of libraries, including Bude, Launceston, Callington, Bodmin and Torpoint.

These events hope to offer an inclusive and diverse educational experience for children across the country, the organisation’s website describes this tour as “interactive kids shows with amazing and talented drag performers!

“Drag Queen Story Hour UK wants to show the world that being different is not a bad thing, and by providing imaginative role models for children to look up to, we can change the world book by book!”
