In November the Post reported on the UK’s Florist Shop of the Year.

Donna Cornish, who runs Flowers by Donna Cornish from her shop in Westgate Street, was nominated for the British Florist Association award in July.

Customers were asked to cast their vote and in September, Donna found out that she was in the final ten.

Normally there would be a gala dinner and ceremony, but, due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the winners of the different categories were announced via video.

On Friday, December 11, she was finally presented with her award.
