A TOWN council has issued a warning after car park users were seen ‘fixing their vehicles’ in its car park.

Camelford Town Council has said that those doing so are breaching its parking order.

A spokesperson for Camelford Town Council said: “We’ve received a few reports regarding people working on their vehicles in the car parks.

“While we understand that sometimes a quick fix is needed, we’d like to kindly remind all residents that the Off-Street Parking Order specifies that servicing, washing, painting, or tending to any vehicle (or part of it) is not permitted in the parking areas—unless it’s reasonably necessary to enable the vehicle to leave the parking place.

“This helps keep our shared spaces clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding!”
